About the event
Tour participants will learn about history of SONGS, see firsthand the decommissioning progress, learn about the storage of spent nuclear fuel and what the community can expect in the short and long-term for the site. This will be the last time to view the site before the domes are permanently dismantled. Light breakfast refreshments and lunch included.

Tour Description:
This is a walking tour. Signup is first-come, first-served, for up to 45 people. The walking tour path is uneven, often on dirt, and includes a steep hill. Participants must be able walk the 1.5-to-2 mile route and stand for two hours. Since this is a walking tour, participants will need to be capable of standing for the duration of the 2.5 hour tour, and able to walk on uneven pavement.
