ACC-OC’s BOLD programs are designed to expand knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and provide hands-on learning experiences for Orange County’s elected officials, city staff, and regional leaders. Through exclusive access to key facilities, major projects, and industry experts, BOLD offers participants practical insights into the complex challenges facing our region. These immersive learning opportunities—available through in-person site visits, briefings, and webinars— equip local leaders with the tools and expertise needed to make informed decisions, develop strategic solutions, and drive positive change in their communities.

Orange County Water and Wastewater Energy Efficiency Rebates Webinar

February 24, 2026

ACC-OC, in partnership with SoCalGas as Orange County's Regional Energy Pathways Partner, hosted a webinar for water districts, wastewater treatment facilities, and high-therm energy users. The session covered SW WISE and Large Public Sector Program rebate opportunities, including high-efficiency pump upgrades, VFD installations, and boiler replacements.

Homes for Heroes: Veteran Housing Orientation and Tour with Jamboree Housing

ACC-OC's BOLD Program welcomed members for a veteran housing orientation and tour at Heroes Landing, Jamboree Housing's award-winning supportive housing community for formerly homeless veterans in Santa Ana. The program underscored the vital role of coordinated housing, employment, and mental health services in supporting veterans on their path to stability and independence.

OCWR Frank R. Bowerman Landfill and Bee Canyon Greenery Tour

November 3, 2025

ACC-OC hosted a BOLD tour of the Frank R. Bowerman Landfill and Bee Canyon Greenery operated by Orange County Waste and Recycling. Attendees discovered how OCWR manages one of the nation's premier solid waste disposal systems, serving residents and businesses across all 34 cities and unincorporated areas.
