ACC-OC partnered with Republic Services to host the grand re-opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for their Anaheim Material Recovery Facility, a cutting-edge facility equipped with advanced technology that enables the processing of up to 100 tons of recyclable materials per hour. The celebration drew city officials from throughout Southern California.
Strengthening Integrity in Public Leadership
On March 14, ACC-OC hosted a Special Briefing in partnership with the Orange County Board of Supervisors, District Attorney’s Office, and Sheriff’s Department to address ethical governance and strengthen accountability in public service.
Orange County Board of Supervisors Chairman Doug Chaffee opened the program with remarks on the importance of collaboration and transparency. Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel Ahn outlined red flags of public corruption and shared practical tools for promoting good governance. District Attorney Todd Spitzer emphasized our role in maintaining public trust, while OC Sheriff Department Intelligence Agency officials stressed local official cooperation to protect institutions from foreign malign influences.

South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) has provided amended Rules (PARS) 1111 and 1121, which aim to reduce NOx emissions from natural-gas-fired furnaces and water heaters.
While these regulations could bring significant environmental changes, concerns remain about transparency, financial impacts on homeowners and businesses, public awareness, and the readiness of the electrical grid. A coalition of stakeholders urges AQMD to delay implementation until at least 2029 to allow for infrastructure improvements and cost mitigation.

The announcement was made on April 15, 2025, by the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The city-owned arena, which seats over 18,000, will host preliminary rounds through medal matches for men's and women's teams, including USA Volleyball, over two weeks in July 2028.

Orange County Water District
The Orange County Water District (OCWD) is proud to present the award-winning Children's Water Education Festival.
The Festival presents a unique opportunity to educate third, fourth, and fifth grade students about local water issues and the environment. Since its inception, more than 152,000 Orange County students have experienced the Festival and its offerings.
Registration for the 28th Annual Festival is now open. The webpage is available for interested teachers, presenters, and volunteers.
The Festival is provided at no cost to Orange County schools. Hosting an event of this magnitude is made possible by many generous sponsors, presenter,s and dedicated volunteers.
City of Yorba Linda
Yorba Linda Police Services acknowledges the growing popularity of electric bikes (e-bikes) in their community. To ensure the safety of all residents, Yorba Linda Police Services will host a series of e-bike safety presentations throughout the year. Electric bikes offer a fun and efficient way to travel, but riding safely is essential to prevent accidents, protect pedestrians and other road users, and comply with local laws. Learning proper safety practices can help riders avoid serious injuries, enhance road awareness, and promote a safe environment for everyone. The next community-wide e-bike presentation will occur on Wednesday, April 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Yorba Linda Community Center. The OC Fellows Program is a two-year professional development program designed for recent college graduates working in Orange County (OC). Through quarterly leadership workshops, networking events, and community engagement, OC Fellows gain valuable skills, build connections across industries, and engage with top business leaders. This program offers a unique opportunity to grow both personally and professionally while contributing to a strong and dynamic OC business community. This program is led by CEO Leadership Alliance, who is committed to developing diverse young talent in OC.
Application Requirements
• Recent college graduate (2022–2025) with a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Full-time employment at an OC company.
• Employer support to attend quarterly events.
• Commitment to a two-year program (July 2025 – June 2027).
• Open to applicants starting a new job in Fall 2025 post-graduation.

Permanent Local Housing Allocation/ 2023 PLHA NOFA
This program provides long-term funding to support affordable housing, homeless prevention programs, and other housing-related projects. Funds are allocated based on California jurisdictions’ housing needs.

Fish and Wildlife Service
This program provides technical and financial support to conserve priority coastal ecosystems. Through cooperative agreements with conservation partners and landowners, including state and Tribal agencies, the Coastal Program aims to restore and protect fish and wildlife habitats on both public and private lands.
