Metropolitan Water District Colorado River Aqueduct Tour

Join us on an enlightening journey through the marvels of the Colorado River Aqueduct, a 242-mile engineering feat spanning open canals, tunnels, and siphones, delivering millions of gallons of water daily from the Colorado River to Southern California. Experience firsthand the intricate workings of this historic aqueduct as we explore key locations such as the Robert B. Diemer Water Treatment Plant in Yorba Linda, Lake Matthews in Riverside, the Whisett Intake Pumping Plant on Lake Havasu, and the picturesque Copper Basin reservoir nestled in the hills above Gene Camp.

Lampson Park Place, LLC, is proposing a housing development project on a 12.3-acre property located at 4665 Lampson Avenue, Los Alamitos, Orange County. The project includes the demolition of an existing vacant office building and surface parking lot to make way for 246 residential units comprising of:

  • 55 single-family detached homes

  • 114 townhomes

  • 77 for rent affordable multi-family apartment homes


Join Aliso Viejo to raise awareness about opioid issues and fentanyl overdose deaths. Forum speakers will include County of Orange Supervisor Katrine Foley, OC Sheriff's Department Sgt. Gunsolley, and Mark Lawrenz from the OC Health Care Agency. Discover how fentanyl-related deaths can be prevented and learn about available resources.

Attendees will receive training on administering Naloxone and will receive a free box.
