Marlene Barraza, Research and Communications Intern

Marlene Barraza is ACC-OC’s Research and Communications Intern. She is passionate about research, communications, and community engagement. Her journey underscores a solid commitment to positively impacting her community. Marlene obtained an Associate Degree in Administration of Justice from Fullerton College. She is currently enrolled at California State University, Fullerton, working to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Her dedication and skills have been put to the test in previous roles, including experience in research at the U.S. Department of Commerce, administrative support with the Orange County Board of Supervisors, and customer service roles at the Disneyland Resort, Arribas Brothers, and Knott's Berry Farm.

 

Now, as a Research and Communications Intern at ACC-OC, she believes this is the perfect role to combine her passion for research and communications with her commitment to community engagement. Marlene is excited to contribute to the organization's mission and collaborate with a dynamic team to support Orange County cities.
